🎵 Sound Is the Only Truth I Trust

There’s a moment—right before the bass drops or the chorus breaks—when time folds.

It’s the only place I’ve ever felt safe.

Not in boardrooms.
Not on balance sheets.
Not even in the quiet corners of my mind.

Only in sound.

That’s why I’m here.
To build a world from vibration.

🎹 Who is Peesh Chopra, Really?

You might know me from another world.
A world of venture capital, founder fights, and scaling SaaS to obscene ARR.

But this?
This is where the soul lives.

Music was never a pivot. It was always Plan A—just delayed.
It started in Goa, on monsoon mornings with old cassette tapes and broken walkmans.
It deepened in Berlin clubs and LA studios, where silence is as sacred as synths.

Now, I create music that lives in the borderlands:

  • Between analog nostalgia and digital precision
  • Between eastern modes and western chords
  • Between the sacred and the savage

🎧 What You’ll Find Here on Soundlines

This Substack is not about album drops.
It’s about the process.

Expect:

  • Behind-the-scenes from the studio
  • Sound experiments and demos
  • Thoughts on sonic storytelling and spiritual tuning
  • Collabs with unlikely voices (coders, monks, maybe even a goat herder)
  • Occasional rants on why Spotify is both the best and worst thing to happen to music

If you want algorithm-friendly noise, this ain’t it.

But if you're looking for texture, grit, and truth-telling through tones—
Welcome to Soundlines.

🧠 Why Now?

Because we’re drowning in content and starving for connection.

Because most music today is fast fashion—designed to loop, not to last.

And because I believe artists should be dangerous again.

Music should disrupt.
It should haunt you in the quiet.
It should tell you things your therapist won’t.

That’s what I’m building here.
Not followers. Not fans.
Frequencies.

🗓 What’s Next?

  • 🎙️ EP release coming Fall 2025 — working title: “Cities I Never Cried In”
  • 📽️ Visual drops for each track, filmed across Copenhagen, Nairobi, Goa, and the Mojave
  • 🔊 Limited vinyl pressing with augmented sound layers (yes, really)
  • 💌 Monthly Soundletters right here: one story, one sound, one soul-slap

🎤 Final Note

If you’re here, it’s probably not an accident.
Maybe you’re building something too. Maybe you’re remembering who you were before the pitch decks.

I see you.

And I promise—
Every note I share here will be honest.
Even when it hurts.
Especially when it heals.

Because in the end, that’s what sound is for.
